Is Matt Nagy leaving the NFL to coach a Conference USA football team? That question is being asked by several fans this weekend.
Earlier this month, Nagy agreed to become the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants. He emerged as the top option for John Harbaugh once Todd Monken signed with the Cleveland Browns.
"First of all, as my dad always would teach us, great coaches are great teachers," Harbaugh said. "When putting together a staff, I look for the ability to create a vision and share the vision and to get everybody on the same page in your room, guys that are demanding, guys that ask a lot of the guys in terms of a high standard. And, also, believe them into that standard, help them believe in themselves to make sure that every player knows that every coach is really in their corner."
On Friday night, NFL fans started questioning if Nagy is truly joining Harbaugh's staff in New York. That's because the Delaware football team posted a graphic of him on social media along with the caption: "Official."
Delaware was just trying to celebrate Nagy's deal with the Giants. The graphic that was shared online, however, made it look like Nagy was returning to his alma mater.

"Sweet jesus i thought he took the Delaware oc job lol," one person commented.
"For a second I thought he was joining yall as OC," a second person wrote.
"What kind of post is this lmao pathetic social account," a fan said.
"IF you look at this graphic at first glance, it appears UD hired him to be their OC," another fan replied.
Can Matt Nagy get the best out of Jaxson Dart?
If Nagy wants to be a head coach in the NFL again, it's crucial that he develops a great connection with Jaxson Dart.
Although he wasn't the Week 1 starter for the Giants, Dart finished his rookie season with 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns. He was named a finalist for AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.
During his media availability last week, Dart spoke highly of Nagy's coaching style.
"I can't wait to get the chance to play for him," Dart told Forbes. "Just so many great things that are said about him and his coaching style and the work that he puts in, the passion that he has for the game."
Only time will tell if Dart and Nagy can thrive together.
