Patrick Mahomes Sends Valentine's Day Gift to Wife Brittany Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is rehabbing after the season-ending ACL and LCL injury that he suffered in the team’s Week 15 game against the Chargers. But, on Valentine’s Day, he has his wife Brittany Mahomes on his mind.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, Brittany Mahomes took to social media to share what Patrick did for both her and their daughters on the holiday.

Brittany took to her Instagram story to share a photo of her daughters with flowers from their father, and Patrick sent flowers to her, too. “Three sets of flowers for his three girls,” she wrote on the post, adding “We love you” and tagging him.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, Brittany also took to social media to share that she had the “best time” celebrating her SI digital cover with a community of other models and Patrick by her side.

“Look at the size of Patrick’s smile. He is so proud and in love with you. Blessings always be with you and your family,” one follower stated on the post. “You are so beautiful and a great representation of Kansas City. Get it girl,” another said.

“I just love this couple,” another stated with a heart eyes emoji. “Such a beautiful love story.”

Mahomes continues to rehab after his injury and subsequent surgery. He’s shooting to be on the field for the Kansas City Chiefs’ first game, the team’s NFL opener, of the 2026-27 season.

“I want to be ready for Week 1. The doctors said I could,” Mahomes said in mid-January regarding his injury, according to ESPN, “but I can’t predict what happens throughout the process.”

He added, “That’s the goal, to play Week 1 and have no restrictions. You want to be out there healthy and give us the best chance to win. I hope to do some things in OTAs and training camp and be able to do things there.”

Mahomes also said that rehabbing is a process, and that’s not always linear. “What I’ve found out through this process is not every day is going to feel amazing,” he commented. “You have to have somebody you trust that’s going to get the best out of you but that’s going to keep you safe.”

The good news is that “as bad as it was, it was as clean as it could be,” Mahomes added of his injury. “There’s a lot of little things that could happen around that knee that I didn’t know. So now it’s just about rehabbing and getting the ACL and the LCL right.”
