The Warriors superstar hopes that the All-Star Game will be shorter.
Stephen Curry's inactivity due to his knee injury served as a significant element in the diminished relevance of this year's NBA All-Star Game.

Out of this, he interestingly proposed a solution on how to revive the popularity of the event as he spoke to reporters on Saturday.
"The only thing I would think about is shortening the game. That might be the only real suggestion I would have because it’s hard to replicate the intensity of a regular-season game. Nobody’s asking anybody to act like it’s a playoff game with those type of stakes, but maybe a shorter game," the Golden State Warriors superstar said.
"I know they’re doing a great job trying to shorten the day for us as All-Stars because we’re used to a certain game-day prep that gets your body ready. The timeouts aren’t as long, the breaks in between games aren’t as long. The league is doing a great job trying to address that, knowing the media part, the fan experience, the made-for-TV part of the game is a big deal. It’s why the attention on the league is at an all-time high."
The new format of the All-Star Game has proposed a target score for teams to reach rather than a set time. The victory of the first three matches between the USA Stripes, USA Stars and the World squad will be determined by which team reaches 40 points.
In the final round, 25 points is the target score for competing teams.
Past All-Star Games followed a standard 48-minute format. But in recent years, the NBA offered a twist in which the first three quarters will be played with 12 minutes each, and the final quarter will have a target score.
"That’s the only suggestion I would have — maybe a 40-minute game if you’re going back to the two-team format," Curry added. "In this situation, short and sweet is better. I think that would help the competition."
