Chelsea closing in on deal for Spaniard–Blues chance to sign gifted midfielder–Chelsea working hard sign midfielder

Here is the latest transfer news and gossip that we think you may have missed from icchelseanews…

CHELSEA may have the perfect opportunity to land Arda Guler from Real Madrid, a player that the Blues wanted to sign before he made the move to La Liga.

Guler was signed by Madrid just a few windows ago in hope that he could be the next big thing for the club, he came to the Spaniards with alot of hype, however there has been alot of speculation that he could be on his way out of the club.

Guler has struggled to get the game time that he has been wanting under Carlo Ancelotti and had been spending alot of the time on the bench, but that changed under Xabi Alonso and the attacker managed to get a few more minutes

But now that the Spaniard has left the club, there has been alot of speculation about players that could be let go and replaced as the club seek to freshen up the side.

Reports from Spain claims The Spanish club’s current issues could present CHELSEA with an opportunity to finally snap up a long-term target, as there is alot of uncertainty surrounding a number of players at the club.

President Florentino is not happy with the media attention that the club have been receiving after the decision was made to let Xabi Alonso go, and a number of his ‘untouchable; players could be up for sale at the end of the season.

However – the reports also says that Guler has no plans to leave Madrid and the Spaniards still have a clear hope that the Turkish star can push on and become the Luka Modric player that they have been missing.

IcChelseanews Says…

Guler is a serious talent that has some real quality, he is just the type of player that CHELSEA like to sign and mold into a player that will really shine at Stamford Bridge. But we cant see him leaving Madrid in the summer.

SORRY GUYS

CHELSEA IN CUCURELLA TALKS

Chelsea are very keen to hand Marc Cucurella new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge before the opening of the summer window in just a few months time.

Cucurella turned the tide after a poor season and a half at Stamford Bridge to become one of the most crucial players in the team and a player that ex-boss Enzo Maresca was able to rely on during the last few seasons.

But there has been some reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA may be open to letting Cucurella leave the club this summer, as the club are eyeing up a number of possible full-backs that offer that area of the pitch a little more.

However – defender is still a first team essential for Liam Rosenior, and considered among the league’s best in his position, and Because of that, the Blues want to offer him a new contract, According too TeamTalk

IcChelseanews says…

It is great news that CHELSEA wants him stay because he has been very impressive for the club over the past 12 months and is easily the clubs number one left-back now, the Blues would be foolish to let him leave.

Saudi Arabian clubs will be willing to make a massive offer, pay around the £70 million mark to get a deal done, but then Chelsea would have to go and find an immediate replacement, get that player used to how things work at the club, let him settle into life in England, it would be more hassle than it is worth.

So we are hoping that a new deal is done between the player and the club sooner, rather than later because i would hate to see the Spaniard leave the club when he has worked so hard to be a regular starter.

CHELSEA REALLY WANT KEES SMIT

Chelsea are reportedly working on a deal to sign highly rated Dutch midfielder Kees Smit from AZ Alkmaar, as the club continues its aggressive pursuit of top young talent across Europe.

Smit, one of the standout prospects in Dutch football, has quickly earned recognition for his composure on the ball, strong passing range, and tactical intelligence well beyond his age. His development in the Netherlands has placed him firmly on the radar of several elite European sides—***CHELSEA*** now among them.

With the club looking to create a sustainable midfield core for the future, Smit’s ball-progression ability and press resistance make him an ideal candidate to eventually complement or challenge the likes of Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo.

A move to Stamford Bridge would offer Smit a pathway into one of Europe’s most ambitious development environments.

Will AZ Alkmaar Consider Selling?

AZ Alkmaar have earned a reputation for nurturing some of the best young talents in the Netherlands, and they are known for selling only when the price and timing are right. Smit is viewed internally as one of the club’s brightest prospects, meaning any deal would likely require a compelling offer—especially with interest growing across Europe

There has been alot of transfer talk that a fee of around £39 million would be enough to get a deal done for chasing clubs, and with some big names also being mentioned alongside the Blues, they would easily let him go if their valuation was met.

Is Chelsea the right move?

Smit is young, hungry, talented and one for the future, he is just the type of player that the Chelsea board have been loving signing over the past few seasons, and a player that they would offer a massive contract too.

We are not sure if a deal will happen, but we are sure that CHELSEA will make an offer if there is a real chance to sign Smit
