Lallana stated: “I love him, I love him. I think in the last few weeks he’s started to get the numbers people expect for the price tag he come to the football club with.

What Florian Wirtz said about his improved Liverpool form
Wirtz commented on his improvements at Liverpool in the first month of the year.
He suggested the reason was his newfound connection with his Reds teammates.
Wirtz stated: “I think I’m feeling good on the pitch. Also the connections with the teammates are really good now – we understand each other better on the pitch and I feel this. It gives me more confidence and makes [it] more fun to play.”
The main man the German has connected with this term is Hugo Ekitike, already linking up for six goals across all competitions.
If they combined again in 2025/26, they will surpass Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard for most combined goals from two players aged 23 or under at Liverpool in one season.
