Chelsea in talks to sign up£150k-a-week Spanish star

Chelsea are very keen to hand Marc Cucurella new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge before the opening of the summer window in just a few months time.

Cucurella turned the tide after a poor season and a half at Stamford Bridge to become one of the most crucial players in the team and a player that ex-boss Enzo Maresca was able to rely on during the last few seasons.

But there has been some reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA may be open to letting Cucurella leave the club this summer, as the club are eyeing up a number of possible full-backs that offer that area of the pitch a little more.

However – defender is still a first team essential for Liam Rosenior, and considered among the league’s best in his position, and Because of that, the Blues want to offer him a new contract, According too TeamTalk

IcChelseanews says…

It is great news that CHELSEA wants him stay because he has been very impressive for the club over the past 12 months and is easily the clubs number one left-back now, the Blues would be foolish to let him leave.

Saudi Arabian clubs will be willing to make a massive offer, pay around the £70 million mark to get a deal done, but then Chelsea would have to go and find an immediate replacement, get that player used to how things work at the club, let him settle into life in England, it would be more hassle than it is worth.

So we are hoping that a new deal is done between the player and the club sooner, rather than later because i would hate to see the Spaniard leave the club when he has worked so hard to be a regular starter.
