According to the [BBC](https://x.com/NizaarKinsella/status/2022773363781882186), Marc Cucurella “is hoping to return in 3-4 weeks” from his hamstring injury, which presumably finally got properly scanned and assessed, with a rehab plan put in place.
Cucurella got hurt in the game against Leeds United on Tuesday, but on Friday night, after our 4-0 victory against Hull City, head coach Liam Rosenior still couldn’t (or wouldn’t) give a timeframe on the injury just yet. Now we have an expected number. It’s not exactly an ideal number, but it certainly could be worse.
Unfortunately, that means Cucurella will miss the big games coming up in a couple weeks against Arsenal and Aston Villa. And while there is a chance he comes back before the March international break, it wouldn’t be surprising if we don’t see him back in action until after that, in April.
Until then, we’re going to need Jorrel Hato to step up and build on a few of his more promising outings of late.
