Jamie Carragher will be featured in a charity boxing night headlined by ex-footballers - but the Liverpool legend won't be pulling on gloves. Organised by former Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stack, the 44-year-old's Pro Project Promotions is putting on 'A Night to Remember II' fight night followed by the success of the inaugural event.
The first edition of the event in October 2025 - which saw the likes of David Bentley, Jody Morris and Leroy Lita duke it out - raised a staggering £127,500 for several UK charities. Stack has since announced plans to run it back on April 17 this year at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.
Alongside the much-needed raising of funds for charities across the UK, the events strive to recognise the difficulties former footballers endure following the end of their sporting careers - from physical fitness to mental well-being.
Providing the ex-sportsmen with a platform to give back to the less fortunate, Stack insisted: "The drive to make a difference doesn't end when the game does." Alongside the 10 ex-professional footballers that will enter the boxing ring, they'll be watched by the likes of Tony Bellew and Natasha Jonas.
The event will be filled with Merseyside royalty including the appearance of Carragher - who has previously trained in boxing gyms - as an ambassador and will take part in a football Q&A alongside Everton hero Francis Jeffers.

Two-weight world champion Jonas will be on hand to train the ex-footballers alongside the renowned Smith Brothers as they prepare for three rounds of action inside the squared circle.
The scheduled bouts include former Stoke and Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo facing off against Swansea City cult hero Lee Trundle. The Scotsman's former Wolves team-mate Carl Ikeme is set to take on Bristol City icon and Liverpool-born Bradley Orr.

Championship great Ross McCormack is also swapping his shooting boots for gloves when he stands across ex-Leeds and Sheffield United defender Matthew Kilgallon - a self-professed boxing lover.
Further competitors include the likes of former Stoke City man Carl Dickinson and ex-Wigan and Wolves winger Adam Hammill. The April event is raising funds for two Merseyside-based charities: Children's Charity Merseyside and Autism Merseyside with the goal of surpassing £120,000 on the night.
