Arsenal are reportedly considering a move to sign former Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic in the summer.
The Gunners have a major issue in terms of the summer transfer window, as both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are out of contract at the end of next season.

If Arsenal don’t extend their contracts or sell them for a fee, they could leave the club for free in June 2027, which would be a massive financial mistake.
Trossard is in his 30s, and Martinelli has been linked with moves to both the Saudi Pro League and the Bundesliga, so Arsenal need to find their next left-winger in the transfer market.
Arsenal keen on ex-Chelsea star Pulisic
Reports during the week claimed that both Arsenal and Liverpool are considering a move to sign AC Milan, and former Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.
The US international is expected to cost around £52m, and also could demand a hefty wage. It is understood that he’s very open to making a return to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old could become Arsenal’s next left-winger, although, the Gunners should stop straight away, as his teammate would make a better signing.
The Gunners should sign Leao instead
Instead of going after Pulisic, Arsenal should replace Martinelli and Trossard with his AC Milan teammate Rafael Leao. The Gunners were linked with Leao last summer, but opted to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace instead.
According to Data MB‘s Player Comparison Tool, Leao ranked better than Pulisic in passing, assist, goals, dribbling and crossing statistics last season. In the same three years that Pulisic has scored 42 goals and 25 assists for Milan, Leao has recorded 35 goals and 29 assists.

Leao is also younger than Pulisic by one year, and he’s also more of an athlete, as he is faster, stronger, and could be more of a nightmare for Premier League defenders. He has an estimated market value of around £60m, so wouldn’t even cost much more. It makes a lot more sense for Arsenal to go for Leao rather than Pulisic.
