Hull City 0-4 Chelsea: Post-Match Chelsea Player Ratings

Chelsea cruised their way to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Hull City in the fourth round of the FA Cup as Liam Rosenior ensured his return to his former employer ended in triumph.

The scoreline could have been a lot worse had Chelsea shown a clinical edge in the first half, as the Blues missed a series of golden opportunities early on in proceedings.

Nevertheless, Pedro Neto gave his side the lead five minutes before the break with an effort from the edge of the box that nestled into the bottom right corner.

Chelsea continued to dominate in the second half, but the difference this time was their quality in the final third as they punished Hull in much more damning fashion.

Neto got his second directly from a corner, which caught everyone in the box out before strong play from Liam Delap presented Estêvão with the opportunity to get his name on the scoresheet and put his side three to the good; an opportunity the Brazilian took.

It was a hat-trick for Neto on the seventy-minute mark that sealed a wonderful performance for the winger and another comfortable FA Cup victory for the Blues.

Robert Sanchez - 6

The Spaniard was rarely called into action in what was a reasonably quiet evening for Chelsea's number one. However, he came alive when he needed to be to preserve his clean sheet.

Reece James - 6

Chelsea's captain looked reasonably comfortable on his return after missing the last three. Did have a scare early on when he was dispossessed in a dangerous area. Other than that, a good performance for James.

Wesley Fofana - 6

The Frenchman seemed to work well alongside his newest centre-back partner, looking comfortable for the duration of the match.

Mamadou Sarr - 7

On his return from Strasbourg, Sarr looked impressive in Chelsea's backline. His passing was on point; a lovely ball over the top to Estêvão should have opened the scoring.

Jorrel Hato - 7

Deputising for the injured Marc Cucurella, the Dutchman impressed on the night. It looks like Chelsea have got another top-quality left-back on their hands.

Moises Caicedo - 6.5

A decent showing from the Ecuadorian, but not his best by his incredibly high standards. Still, Caicedo looked a force to be reckoned with in the centre of the pitch.

Andrey Santos - 7

The Brazilian's partnership with Caicedo continues to flourish as he put in another high-quality performance on Friday night. He looks incredibly confident in possession.

Estêvão - 6.5

Missed a golden opportunity to put his side in the lead after doing all the hard work, still got his name on the scoresheet in the second half. Looked bright at times, but would have wanted to cause more problems on the wing.

Pedro Neto - 9

Operating behind the striker on the night, Pedro Neto got rewarded for his efforts with a hat-trick that is sure to instil some more confidence inside him. His clinical edge made him the standout on the night for Chelsea.

Alejandro Garnacho - 5.5

Started brightly but was not as effective as his fellow attackers. Got into some good positions but consistently made the wrong decisions.

Liam Delap - 7.5

Missed an opportunity that he will not want to look back on, but recovered from it well, assisting three of Chelsea's four goals on the evening. Produced a great piece of hold-up play for Neto's third.

Substitutes:

Enzo Fernandez (60') - 6

Slotted into the midfield nicely for the final half-hour. Rosenior will be happy that the Argentine got a rest

Josh Acheampong (60') - 6

Came on at right back for the final half hour. Looked comfortable and willing to make runs forward.

Tosin Adarabioyo (77') - N/A

Made his return. Did not have enough time on the pitch to be judged.

Jesse Derry (77') - N/A

A nice moment as Derry received his first team debut for the Blues.

Shim Mheuka (87') - N/A

Another first team appearance for the academy striker, who will be hoping for more opportunities in the near future.
