247Sports College Basketball Show: Recruiting intel, Caleb Wilson, top defenders, Houston deep…

The 247Sports College Basketball Show returned to the CBS Sports Network on Friday and is now available in its entirety on the CBS Sports College Basketball YouTube channel.

The only nationally televised show, on any network, to cover the game all the way from recruiting to the NBA Draft, this week's show explored an especially wide variety of topics.

We began with the latest on the recruiting trail, where both Lincoln Cosby and Jordan Smith have come off the board to Michigan and Arkansas respectively, while Adam Oumiddoch has decommitted from St. John's. Dylan Mingo is still expected to announce his final decision in the very near future while a leader could be emerging for Christian Collins.

Our college basketball talk included a look at the Wooden Award late mid-season list, and some of the snubs, and then the implications of Caleb Wilson's injury at North Carolina. We explored candidates for the all-defense team, including Killyan Toure at Iowa State, Bishop Boswell at Tennessee, Miles Byrd at San Diego State, Flory Bidunga at Kansas, and Rueben Chinyelu at Florida. We also do a deep dive on the state of the Houston program and their chances to be national champions as well as the job Bill Self has done at Kansas.

Finally, we explore implications of the recent court ruling on Charles Bediako and how it could shift the amount of players who stay in this years draft, particularly with a wide open 2027 class on the horizon.
