Paul Heyman has issued a public warning to NFL legend Tom Brady following comments the quarterback made about professional wrestling. The tension began during the February 10 episode of the Impaulsive podcast, where Brady appeared as a guest alongside Logan Paul.
During their conversation, Paul discussed his upcoming participation in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 21, 2026. Brady expressed concern about Paul's safety against professional football players, prompting the WWE star to defend the athleticism required in the ring.
When Brady described Paul’s wrestling career as “cute,” it sparked a back-and-forth that has since moved to social media. Paul shared a highlight reel of his most impressive maneuvers to prove the physical demands of his job.
Heyman, who currently serves as a special advisor to Paul within the heel faction known as The Vision, decided to take the situation a step further by challenging the seven-time Super Bowl winner to a verbal confrontation.
Heyman referenced Brady's previous experience with public roasts to illustrate the level of intensity he would face in a wrestling environment. He suggested that a microphone battle on WWE Raw on Netflix would be far more punishing than anything Brady has dealt with in the past. Heyman believes that he and Logan Paul would easily outclass the legendary quarterback if he chose to step onto their territory.
"If @TomBrady thinks @NikkiGlaser ripped him up at the Roast, he has no idea what @LoganPaul and I would do to him on the mic in front of a live @WWE audience on @Netflix!" Heyman wrote.
This statement follows Heyman’s earlier calls for WWE to book a match between the two icons for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. While Brady has not yet officially accepted the invite, the social media exchange has already created significant buzz among WWE fans.
The drama unfolds as WWE prepares for a pivotal episode of Monday Night Raw in Memphis on February 16, 2026. The show is set to feature several major segments, including the return of AJ Lee, who will address her upcoming Elimination Chamber match against Becky Lynch. Fans can also expect a high-stakes triple-threat qualifying match for the Men's Elimination Chamber between GUNTHER, Dominik Mysterio, and the rising star Je’Von Evans. On the women’s side, Asuka, Bayley, and Nattie will compete for a spot in the chamber as well.
In other news, 54-year-old wrestling veteran Bully Ray has also weighed in on the Brady situation. Speaking on Busted Open, Ray expressed his frustration with Brady's “cute” comment and stated he would be willing to fight the NFL icon himself to defend the business’s honor.
As ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 remain a point of internal concern for WWE, high-profile celebrity involvements like this are seen as a potential way to boost interest heading into the spring.
