Ceadach O’Neill has received a late callup to the Arsenal senior squad for today’s FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Wigan Athletic and is amongst the substitutes.
Despite initially being the extra man O’Neill is now on the bench after Riccardo Calafiori suffered an injury in the warmup. Bukayo Saka is now starting.
O’Neill made four senior appearances for his previous club Linfield before joining Arsenal in 2024.
This season he has perhaps been the standout performer for Arsenal U18s with nine goals in ten league appearances.
Khari Ranson has been selected as the third choice goalkeeper, with Tommy Setford on the bench.
Defender Marli Salmon, 16, is in the squad as a substitute.
