Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori pulled out of the team after getting injured in the warm-up before the Gunners' FA Cup tie with Wigan. The Italian had been named in the starting line-up for the fourth-round clash, but picked up a late issue while they were preparing for the match.
[Bukayo Saka](https://www.express.co.uk/latest/bukayo-saka), who only recently returned from injury himself, was drafted into the team from the substitutes' bench. Myles Lewis-Skelly had been expected to start in midfield, but was forced to return to left-back to cover for Calafiori while Saka played an unusual central role.
