Marli Salmon and Tommy Setford both came on as substitutes as Arsenal beat Wigan Athletic 4-0 in the FA Cup fourth round.

Salmon replaced William Saliba just after the hour mark and initially played at centre-back before moving to right-back when Ben White went off.

Goalkeeper Tommy Setford, somewhat unusually, also came on in the closing stages as he joined Salmon in making his home senior debut.

Ceadach O’Neill was an unused substitute after being promoted to the bench at short notice following an injury to Riccardo Calafiori in the warmup.

Arsenal academy graduate Matt Smith came on as a substitute for Wigan in the first half.

Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus all scored in the first half, with Jack Hunt scoring an own goal.
