Prayers are pouring in after three former NFL stars have died.
The 2025 NFL season came to an end last Sunday. The Patriots fell to the Seahawks, 29-13, at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California. It was the second Super Bowl championship in Seattle franchise history.
But while the NFL season came to an end, three former league greats passed away, sadly.

Three former NFL players have tragically died.
Two former NFL players, Barry Wilburn and Kevin Johnson, were found dead before Super Bowl 60.
Wilburn, who won a Super Bowl with the Redskins, was found dead in a house fire. Johnson, 55, was found dead in a homeless encampment.
"Family and friends are mourning the loss of former NFL player and Super Bowl champion Barry Wilburn. Family confirms he was the victim of a house fire in Orange Mound early Friday morning," Action News 5 confirmed.
"The Memphis Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire on Douglass Avenue in Orange Mound at around 2am Friday morning. They found an unresponsive victim in the rear hallway. He was pronounced dead at the scene."
This weekend, former New England Patriots quarterback Michael Proctor -- who made his name known as "The General" while playing collegiately at Murray State - passed away. He was only 58 years old.
