Everton have now been handed the absolute dream scenario with Jack Grealish after talks with Manchester City, as it's now emerged that Pep Guardiola's side would be open to discussing another loan deal.
Grealish made a significant impact at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this season, before his spell at the club was likely cut short due to injury. The English winger has been ruled out for an extended period after suffering a stress fracture in his foot, which required surgery, meaning the Toffees will be lucky to see him again this season.
Grealish joined Everton on loan at the beginning of the 2025/2026 campaign after falling out of favour under Guardiola at City. It's safe to say Grealish made a real impression on Merseyside, and he's produced more goals and assists than any other Everton player in the Premier League this season.

According to Football Insider reporter Pete O'Rourke, Manchester City would be open to all options in terms of moving Grealish on, including allowing him to leave on loan once again.
“He’s obviously got no long-term future at Manchester City, I think that’s pretty certain. City will be open to all options to see Grealish move on, whether that’s on a permanent or a loan."
The report confirms that there is a £50m buy option in the contract of Grealish, but understandably, given his age, Everton won't want to invest that sort of money, and the two clubs are set to hold talks over what happens next with the tricky winger.
Instead, the dream scenario of another loan deal has emerged as an option for the Toffees, and they need to do everything they can to secure his signature on loan once again.
