Head coach Mike Macdonald and the Seattle Seahawks lost quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko more than interviewed for the offensive coordinator role with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Janocko accepted the position too.

Just a little more than a hour after reporting Janocko had an interviewed scheduled with the Raiders, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Raiders are expected to hire Janocko as their next offensive coordinator.

Seahawks QB coach Andrew Janocko now is expected to be hired as the Raiders offensive coordinator, per sources. Janocko once again will reunite with Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak, whom he worked with in New Orleans and Seattle. https://t.co/H4Zf10Nv5G

Janocko will be joining Raiders new head coach Klint Kubiak in Las Vegas. Kubiak also coached with the Seahawks as offensive coordinator this past season.

Before Sunday, Janocko was reportedly a candidate to replace Kubiak as Seahawks OC. But minutes before news broke that Janocko was officially joining the Raiders, Schefter reported the Seahawks hired San Francisco 49ers tight ends coach Brian Fleury as their new offensive coordinator.

Janocko spent one season with the Seahawks. During 2026, he will be coaching under Kubiak with a fourth different team.

In 2024, Janocko was the New Orleans Saints quarterbacks coach while Kubiak served as the team’s offensive coordinator. The two coaches also held the same roles with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2021 campaign.
