Oregon Lottery’s top Super Bowl winner bet on a Seahawks win last August. Here’s how much they…

The biggest winner of the Oregon Lottery’s online Super Bowl 60 betting made their prediction early.

In August, a Portlander wagered $1,000 that the Seahawks would win the Super Bowl, the Oregon Lottery said.

Last weekend, they won $60,000.

That bet was among the more than 450,000 that Oregonians made through the state lottery’s DraftKings Sportsbook, totaling more than $8.4 million.

Total betting on Super Bowl 60 was up compared to $8.2 million in bets last year, the Oregon Lottery said.

But the state generated just $1.3 million in new revenue from Super Bowl 60, compared to $2.8 million in 2025.

Revenue was down because of the “strong in-state support for the Seahawks,” who beat the Patriots to win the game, Kerry Hemphill, Oregon Lottery sports betting manager said in a news release.

Still, Hemphill called the Super Bowl a “significant revenue-driving event for Oregon.”

Oregon introduced online sports betting in 2019. Gamblers have to be in the state to place a virtual sports bet.

People can bet on everything from which team will win the coin toss to which player is named MVP.

About 15% of 9,679 betters correctly guessed that the game’s Gatorade would be yellow, the Oregon Lottery said.

And about 43% of 9,159 betters correctly guessed that the Patriots would win the coin toss.
