NBA All-Star Game Crowd Makes Opinion On Barack Obama Very Clear

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is underway, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is going with a different format. There are three different teams competing. Two of the teams are comprised by U.S. players - the Stars and Stripes teams - while a third team is comprised by international players.

The three teams will play a three-game round robin event, with the two teams with the best point differential playing in the championship game. It's an exciting new format and, so far, it's working - the players are competing hard.

Former U.S. President Barack Obama is in attendance. He's sitting courtside. The former President of the United States received a loud ovation inside of the arena.

Video shows how the NBA All-Star Game reacted to former U.S. President Barack Obama's appearance on Sunday night.

Obama made it clear that he loves sports - and what they can do

The former U.S. president has made it clear that he loves sports and what they can do for the United States - and the rest of the world.

"Watching the NBA All Star game and Team USA at the Winter Olympics, it's clear that sports - just like music and art - still has the power to bring us together, build community, and remind us of our common humanity," he wrote on Facebook.

Obama has already made headlines for his appearance at the NBA All-Star Game, too, catching an errant pass on the sideline.

He also roasted Reggie Miller.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game, meanwhile, is airing live on NBC on Sunday evening. It's been a fun one so far.
