Packers’ Matt LaFleur sends message to Wisconsin Badgers in the locker room after Michigan…

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was among the many who were left impressed by the Wisconsin Badgers’ Friday win against the Michigan State Spartans at Kohl Center in Madison.

Following the Badgers’ 92-71 demolition of Tom Izzo’s Spartans, the Packers mentor made an appearance in Wisconsin’s locker room to share a message for Greg Gard’s players.

“Every time you step on that court, you play like that. You’d be a really tough team to beat. But that was fun to watch. Keep it rolling now, one day at a time. Stack that [expletive] up,” LaFleur told the Badgers, with Gard in the background.

Packers head coach LaFleur hypes up the Wisconsin Badgers after huge win against the Spartans at home

Although he is coming from a different world, particularly in the realm of football, as a head coach, LaFleur has an idea what winning looks like, and he clearly saw it in the Badgers.

Wisconsin just had an amazing week. Before taking down the Spartans, the Badgers shocked the No. 8 Illinois Fighting Illini on the road last Wednesday to the tune of a 92-90 score via overtime. In that game, Wisconsin had to overcome a double-digit deficit in the second half, and doing so was certainly not easy, especially against a talented team and in enemy territory.

The job is far from over for Wisconsin. A couple of major wins this past week surely earned them respect, but the Badgers still have plenty of work left to do.

With the Packers in the offseason, the Badgers are giving Wisconsin sports fans something to cheer for and feel excited about, especially with March Madness just around the corner.
