As the NFL regular season winds down, many players are playing for more than just postseason appearances.
Many players have incentives in their contracts that allow them to make bonuses based off of individual performances or team success. While these incentives typically become more clear by Week 18, a handful of players can make their bonuses this week if they are already able to hit certain benchmarks.
For some of these incentives, the players have to wait and see where they end up on the NFL leaderboards at the end of the year. However, some big names can potentially avoid sweating out these incentives in the final week of the regular season by securing the money this week.
Here's a look at some of the biggest incentives at stake this week.
