The Seattle Seahawks earned their first NFC West division title in five years. Coach Mike Macdonald, who saw his team miss the playoffs in 2024 at 10-7, knew his team would already be making the playoffs coming out of the 2025 NFL season, but that didn't stop him from leading his team to a 13-3 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
With the win, the Seahawks earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC. This gives them not only home-field advantage until the Super Bowl provided that they don't lose, but also gives Seattle a first-round bye and some much needed rest.
Here is more on the 2026 playoff bracket with the Seahawks sitting atop the NFC.
