The Philadelphia Eagles avoided a Super Bowl hangover and were repeat NFC East champions. Now they will focus on repeating as Super Bowl champions.
Philadelphia rested its players in Week 18 against the Commanders, losing the contest 24-17. While they had the chance to move up to the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the Eagles stayed pat after the season finale, and their path to the Super Bowl is laid out.
Here's a look at their final seeding for the 2025 NFL regular season:

The Eagles officially will hold the No. 3 seed in the NFC. They finished behind the same-record Bears, who have the head-to-head victory tiebreaker. Because of Chicago's loss to Detroit, Philadelphia had a chance to earn the No. 2 seed by beating Washington in Week 18, but the Eagles' backups could not pull it off.
Philadelphia won't have full home-field advantage or the top seed for the second straight playoffs. They were the No. 2 behind the Lions when they won Super Bowl 59, but hosted and won the NFC championship game when the Lions were upset in the divisional playoffs.
