NBA 2K26 Player Ratings Update Arrives During All-Star Weekend

Superstars from across the Conferences are getting updates to their Player Ratings ahead of the All-Star Weekend, and while we're seeing a lot of winners with improved grades, we're also seeing some stars who are regressing just a tiny little bit. We talk about all of the biggest winners and losers in this article.

Cooper Flagg, Dallas Mavericks' Superstar Rookie, proves why he's on top of Rookie of the Year contention lists this year, continuing his role as the Mavs' new anchor following Anthony Davis' trade. He rises to 87 OVR (+1) just before the All-Star Weekend, and we're sure to see further improvement from Flagg as the season continues.

Last year's Rookie of the Year is also still improving, as Stephon Castle of the San Antonio Spurs rises to 85 OVR (+1). A core part of San Antonio's rotation, Castle is averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists at 46.4% shooting. He's recently recorded a 40-point triple-double against Flagg's Mavericks, so this accolade is justly earned.

Alexandre Sarr of the Washington Wizards is also another highlight of this round of Player Rating updates, now at 84 OVR (+1). Sarr and the rest of the Wizards are showing an improvement in their game that shows a preview of what the Eastern Conference is facing next year, once both newly-arrived Superstars, Trae Young and Anthony Davis, become healthy next year. Will Riley's 78 OVR (+4) and Justin Champagnie's 78 OVR (+1), add to this beefier Wizards roster.

Finally, a round of appreciation for the fast-growing Rookies who are in the race for this year's Rookie of the Year award. Apart from the aforementioned Cooper Flagg, we also have Charlotte Hornets' Kon Knueppel, who is currently at 85 OVR; Philadelphia 76ers' VJ Edgecombe at 81 OVR; New Orleans Pelicans' Derik Queen is now at 81 OVR (+1); Memphis Grizzlies' Cedric Coward is at 80 OVR (-1); Brooklyn Nets' Egor Dëmin has 78 OVR (+1); Portland Trail Blazers' Caleb Love at 78 OVR; Sacramento Kings' Maxime Raynaud at 79 OVR (+2); San Antonio Spurs' Dylan Harper at 80 OVR (+1); and Utah Jazz's Ace Bailey at 79 OVR.
