Packers’ Tucker Kraft jokes about switching position

The Green Bay Packers suffered significant injuries in the 2025 NFL season that made it harder for the team to go on a deeper run in the playoffs. Among the key Green Bay players downed by injuries in the 2025 campaign were tight end Tucker Kraft and defensive end Micah Parsons.

Kraft and Parsons both sustained ACL injuries, with the former suffering his during a Week 9 home game at Lambeau Field against the visiting Carolina Panthers, while the latter picked up the injury in a Week 15 clash on the road at Empower Field at Mile High versus the Denver Broncos.

The two players are on a long recovery back to full health, as Green Bay hopes to have them back as early as the start of the 2026 NFL campaign.

Packers’ Kraft jokes about switching positions with Parsons

In a recent post on social media, the 25-year-old Kraft joked about playing a different position in the offseason.

“On a real note [though] @micahparsons11 and I are going to switch positions this offseason,” the former South Dakota State football star wrote in an Instagram Story post.

The tight end and defensive end positions are completely different from each other, and they require different set of skills and abilities. Green Bay also surely prefers Kraft to stay in his lane, as they do with Parsons.

In 2025, Kraft was on pace to become the first Green Bay tight end to record at least 1,000 yards in a season, but the injury held him to only 489 receiving yards to go along with six touchdowns on 32 receptions and 44 targets across eight games played.

The 26-year-old Parsons, on the other hand, recorded 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and 41 combined tackles in 14 games during his first season with Green Bay.
