Liverpool secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, and James Pearce has shared some stunning footage of one of the goals.
Reds in the hat for fifth round of FA Cup
The Reds' defence of the Premier League title has been very poor, but there was some respite in the FA Cup at the weekend, with Arne Slot's side cruising to a 3-0 win against the Seagulls at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah wrapped up the victory from the penalty spot in the second half, and despite having his differences with Slot this season, the manager was full of praise for his forward's performance, saying: "He not only had a goal, he also had an assist with his right foot.

"So that's probably even special for him, I'm not sure, but the next step is scoring with his right. Maybe he did this a lot as well, I don't know.
"I think it's nice to see him on the scoreboard again, but, he's been also influential in his assist in the last few games."
Indeed, the Egyptian also played the role of creator by setting up Dominik Szoboszlai's goal, which was praised by Pearce, who said: "Don’t think Liverpool have scored a better goal all season. Everything Anfield has wanted to see - moving it quickly, the precision, the movement, the quality.
The Athletic reporter also shared some stunning footage of the Hungarian's goal, which provided the Reds with a 2-0 advantage.
Liverpool must kick on after Brighton triumph
Although Manchester City's late comeback to win 2-1 at Anfield earlier this month will have hurt, Liverpool have been in improved form in recent weeks, winning four of their last five matches in all competitions.
There is still plenty to play for this season, with qualifying for the Champions League of key importance, while the Reds are also in the last 16 of Europe's elite competition, and in the hat for the FA Cup fifth round draw, which is due to take place on Monday at 6:35pm.
