Noni Madueke is happy for Arsenal fans to get excited about their season

Noni Madueke claims Arsenal supporters are well within their rights to feel excited as the club continue their ambitious Quadruple push.

While Mikel Arteta's Gunners know there is still so much to play for between now and the end of the season, they remain competitive across all four competitions as we enter the crunch stage of the campaign.

Madueke was on target on Sunday in the 4-0 FA Cup rout over Wigan Athletic and after the match, he was asked about the club's fanbase daring to dream.

He told Stan Sport: "I think they have every right to be [dreaming]. We are working hard to try and deliver the level that we should be with our performances right now.

"That is our main focus, and I think it is exciting, but we need to carry on doing the right things every single day."

It might be cliché but Arsenal are currently taking things one game at a time, however, nobody can deny they are currently in a position of serious strength.

They are four points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League and can extend that gap to seven if they are victorious at Wolves on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners will also learn their FA Cup fifth round opponents in tonight's draw while they also have a League Cup final versus City and a Champions League last 16 tie to look forward to.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is concerned Arsenal's growing injury list could jeopardise their ability to challenge on all fronts though after Riccardo Calafiori pulled out of the starting XI against Wigan during the warm-up due to an issue.

When asked whether he was worried about his squad becoming increasingly thin, the Spaniard said: "Yes, and especially because we are going through...before it was the strikers, then it was the defenders, now it's the midfielders."

Ben White confirmed on Instagram that he has avoided injury despite suggestions he felt his hamstring against Wigan.

Arteta is hopeful he'll be able to call upon the likes of Kai Havertz soon, adding: "We are still coping with that [absences] but we need some players back and fit and to give us as well not only numbers but different options in relation to the opponents that we have, so the quicker the better."
