Chelsea are open to offloading centre-back Trevoh Chalobah this summer, according to reports.
The Blues tried to sell the 26-year-old before the start of the 2024/25 season, prior to his loan move to Crystal Palace, but TEAMtalk claim he is on the market once again.
It is believed that the club is willing to listen to offers for Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Supporters on X are not happy with this latest development. Chalobah has been an integral player over the last 12 months since his return from Palace, and many are questioning why he is up for sale:
Trev is pure Chels. He needs to stay.

They’re not tired of looking for that pure profit money from Trev.

Don't know why we're always dangling Chalobah in the market. Very good squad player

Can we stop mentioning Chalobah in this bracket. He is on another level compared to the other two

Chalobah is better than these guys, he will be a reliable and squad player

They just wanna sell Chalobah for profits

Chelsea academy players are getting the short end of the stick
It’s clear that the Blues are using homegrown players to balance the books. Under PSR, academy graduates like Chalobah go down as pure profit on the accounts.
That is not a good way to run a football club, though. Chalobah has been one of the team’s most consistent players and he has shown his loyalty by refusing offers in the past to depart on a permanent basis.
Why are Chalobah, Badiashile and Tosin all up for sale?
TEAMtalk report that the Blues are lining up a move for long-term target Murillo. The Nottingham Forest defender could be sold for around £50m this summer.
Murillo’s arrival will only be possible, though, if a current player departs. Including Mamadou Sarr, head coach Liam Rosenior has six centre-backs at his disposal. Aaron Anselmino will make that seven when he returns from his loan spell at Strasbourg.
