Man Utd could make a huge move to sign a forward in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United remain in the race to sign Yan Diomande in the summer transfer window amid a fierce race for his signature.
United have prioritised a midfield refresh at the end of the season, but would also like to add a left winger to their squad after they tried to sign Antoine Semenyo last month. United were prepared to spend £65 million on the Bournemouth star in the winter window before he decided to join local rivals Man City instead.
Diomande is not the only forward United are looking at ahead of the summer, and they have yet to identify a top target for the position yet. The 19-year-old is also on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, while there is interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as well.

Diomande names his 'dream club'
Yan Diomande caused a stir back in November when he described Liverpool as a 'dream club' to play for because his father supports them. “I’m a big fan of Liverpool because my father’s dream is to see me play at Anfield, so that’s my dream. You know, to fulfil my father’s dream is a dream for me too," the RB Leipzig star said in a video that went viral on social media.
The 19-year-old clearly wants to keep his options open and has clarified that his comments related to his father's support of Liverpool, rather than his own preference to play for them. “People made it out to be my dream club, but first and foremost, it’s my dad’s favourite club," he told Bild. “It was always his great wish to see me play there someday because he loves the atmosphere at Anfield.
“He always raved about Steven Gerrard. I was too young to see him play. We didn’t even have a TV at home for a long time. I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, but my dream club right now is Leipzig.”
Diomande preparing for summer transfer
Yan Diomande recently changed agencies ahead of a proposed move in the summer transfer window. RB Leipzig ruled out any move for the teenager in the winter window and reportedly value him at €100 million (£86.6m) if he is to be on the move at the end of the season.
It means it could cost close to a club-record fee if he were to move to Old Trafford, something that seems unlikely in a summer when central midfield is their priority. Diomande has been unveiled as a new client for Roc Nation Sports, the sports management division of Roc Nation, which was founded by American rapper and businessman JAY-Z.
Roc Nations Sports confirmed the partnership in a social media post, while notorious transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano declared it an 'important decision' ahead of the summer window. "RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé has signed today with Roc Nation Sports International as new agency," he wrote on social media. "Important decision ahead of summer transfer window with several top clubs keen."
