_Have the Cowboys given any thought to trying Brevyn Spann-Ford at offensive tackle? At 6'7" and 270 pounds and considered by the Cowboys to be an outstanding blocker, it would seem like he might be a good fit, much like Rayfield Wright, who transitioned from tight end to become a Hall of Fame offensive tackle for the Cowboys._ **–** **Crawford Bunkley/_\*_**Cypress**\*, TX**
**Patrik**: Slow news day, huh? In all seriousness though, the answer is a resounding "no". First, Spann-Ford is arguably the second-best option at tight end in Dallas, depending on the situation, and could very well develop to be one hell of a complement to Jake Ferguson. Second, if the Cowboys need to convert a tight end to tackle, and in the third year of his NFL career, go ahead and burn everything down because ... yuck. What Rayfield Wright was able to do was outstanding ... in the 1960s and 1970s. I'd hold off on assuming that can be done against the best edge rushers in this generation of NFL football.
