On Sunday, Feb. 15, the R&B icon led an a cappella performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.

June’s Diary supported Brandy, 47, with dreamy vocal harmonies as she put her own spin on the song.

Brandy and the R&B group appeared in full Thom Browne military-style uniforms accessorized with white pumps.

At the end of the performance, the "Have You Ever" hitmaker smiled and told the audience, "Thank y'all."

Additionally on Feb. 15, Sarah McLachlan represented her native country by performing the Canadian national anthem and composer and radio presenter John Tesh performed his 1995 song "Roundball Rock" for the first time live in a sports arena.

The annual three-day weekend, which took place from Friday, Feb. 13 to Feb. 15 in Los Angeles, also featured performances from Ludacris, Shaboozey, K-pop group CORTIS and more.

Ludacris, 48, headlined the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend and performed ahead of the Slam Dunk contest on Saturday, Feb. 14. He also took the stage on Feb. 13, as part of the NBA's fan experience, NBA Crossover, at the Michelob ULTRA Courtside Concert.

Last month, Brandy received the Black Music Icon Award from The Recording Academy's Black Music Collective, which honors "Black music creators whose artistry, innovation and service have shaped the industry and inspired generations around the world," per a press release.

At the Jan. 29 event in L.A., Pharrell Williams was presented the Dr. Dre Impact Award, which recognized "not only his musical achievements but also his entrepreneurial innovation, philanthropic efforts and far-reaching cultural influence worldwide," per the Recording Academy.

Kirk Franklin also received the Black Music Icon Award.

Brandy wrapped her co-headlining The Boy Is Mine Tour with Monica, which celebrated the pair's No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "The Boy Is Mine."

In an August 2025 interview with PEOPLE, the "Angel in Disguise" singer spoke about why the timing felt right for the tour.

“The song was such a monumental song and so many people loved it, but it just never just seemed like it was the right time. But now coming together all of these years later, it just seems like this is the perfect time," she said.

Brandy added, "I just want people to just feel like it created this amazing memory for them that they can remember for the rest of their lives."
