It’s safe to say AJ Brown has been unhappy with the Philadelphia Eagles franchise. However, if Brown is traded, he could land with a potential Super Bowl contender.
The Baltimore Ravens have been listed as a top landing spot for AJ Brown, according to Bleacher Report.
Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton gave a trade scenario in which the Ravens would trade Rashod Bateman and a 2nd-round pick to the Eagles for AJ Brown.
“If the Baltimore Ravens acquire Brown, they would likely have to balance two sizeable wide receiver contracts on their books.” Moton wrote. “The Ravens need to make a crucial decision regarding the fifth-year option in Zay Flowers’ rookie deal. As a two-time Pro Bowler, his contract will cost the Ravens $28 million for the 2027 season. This year, though, his contract counts for $4.5 million against the cap.”
AJ Brown Could Boost the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl Chances
The Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl window is now. Though they have been competing for the past seven years, the Ravens have not been able to achieve their goal of bringing a Super Bowl back to Baltimore.
However, AJ Brown would be a big help in Baltimore.
If Brown lands with the Baltimore Ravens, they will add another 1,000-yard wide receiver to go along with Zay Flowers. Not only that, but Brown would also be another key weapon for Lamar Jackson.

“Jackson could post career numbers with Brown and Flowers as his top two targets.” Moton wrote. “Brown would reunite with his former Tennessee Titans teammate, Derrick Henry, and add to the team’s physical identity. The 6’1″, 226-pound outside receiver can be a complement to Flowers, who’s a shifty 5’9″ wideout who lines up on the boundary and in the slot.”
In the 2025 season, AJ Brown hauled in 78 receptions on 121 targets. Brown recorded 1,003 yards and 7 touchdowns with the Eagles in 2025. A.J. Brown signed a 3-year, $96 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
“Still, the Ravens have the financial wiggle room to absorb Brown’s contract and negotiate with Flowers’ camp on a new deal if they restructure quarterback Lamar Jackson’s contract to save $38 million.” Moton wrote.
AJ Brown’s Attitude in Philadelphia
In the past two seasons, many have seen AJ Brown show his frustrations with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“There are levels to whether or not the Eagles should trade Brown. From a simple player-team relationship standpoint, it’s time.” Tyler Sullivan wrote in a CBS Sports article. “Brown has seemingly been unhappy with his role in the offense over the last two years. His angst in 2024 was simply covered up by a Super Bowl run, and his feelings grew even more apparent this past season.”
Brown has repeatedly showed his frustration with the Eagles offense, specifically his role in 2025. If the Ravens were to land Brown, he has made it clear that he wants a huge role in not just the offense, but in winning as well.
There is no doubt that an offense with Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and A.J. Brown would be dangerous. They would perhaps be the most dangerous offense in the NFL.
