After a four-year tenure with the Miami Dolphins, the team parted ways with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The veteran suffered a season-ending injury four weeks into the 2025

With Mike McDaniel out, Jeff Hafley taking over and Tua Tagovailoa likely out, too, the Dolphins will go through a complete overhaul this offseason. Multiple reports indicated that the Dolphins cut Hill on Monday.
The player had a quick and fun reaction to the news. Hill adjusted his Instagram bio to say “unemployed” shortly after reports came to light.

He played 54 games with the Dolphins, posting 340 catches for 4,733 yards and 29 touchdowns. His best season happened in 2023, when he played 16 games, posting 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. Hill appeared set to break the 2,000-yard mark, but he missed the Week 15 duel against the New York Jets due to an ankle injury.

It is unclear what is next for Tyreek Hill, but his social media activity might paint a clearer picture. He has been linked with a return to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won his first and only Super Bowl ring. He could reunite with McDaniel on the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills pose another intriguing option for Hill. The Las Vegas Raiders could pair him with Fernando Mendoza, and the San Francisco 49ers could add his veteran presence after a seemingly imminent Brandon Aiyuk exit.
