Travis Kelce could have had a better season than the one he had for the Kansas City Chiefs. The franchise had one of their worst seasons in recent history, with a disappointing 6-11 record and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
As a result, the player has been enjoying his offseason for quite some time where he has been up to a lot of things, including breaking his partner Taylor Swift’s chair on his podcast. Now, he seems to be having trouble at the golf course as well.
Travis Kelce rushes over to woman after hitting her with golf ball
Kelce recently attended the star-studded AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links in California. It is an annual pro golf tournament for celebrities where PGA Tour professionals also play. In his offseason, Kelce was enjoying playing another sport other than football.

On the final hole of the second round, Kelce hit a drive that went out of bounds and yelled “Fore!” to warn bystanders. However, it still managed to hit a woman named Edenne Flinn. She was mildly injured and was sitting in a golf cart to recover.
Kelce went towards her to check whether she was alright. A viral video shows him repeatedly asking “You alright?” to the hurt woman. He was visibly concerned and stayed by her side for some time. Afterward, making sure she was okay, he signed an autograph for her. The 36-year-old did not finish the hole and called it a day.
This is not the first time Kelce has accidentally hit someone while playing golf. During the 2024 American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, he similarly hit a woman who was left bloodied and required urgent medical attention. As the video went viral, many fans did not really appreciate the player. They criticized the tight end for trying to feign care for other reasons.
Fans mock Travis Kelce’s kind gesture
Many fans did not think that Kelce was actually trying to care for the woman, but was rather trying to avoid a lawsuit. Whether that is actually the case or not, a lot of comments show that fans didn’t like Kelce’s actions.
One user said, “Nah, he’s just trying not to get sued.”
A second user wrote, “Trying to avoid a lawsuit”.
A third replied, “He is a menace to society.”
Another added, “He’s nice to her so she won’t sue him”.
A fifth commented, “He was trying to make sure there wasn’t a law suit”.
A sixth remarked, “Typical Chiefs criminal”.
Travis Kelce is spending his offseason, with reports of a huge decision regarding his career looming.
