Nicolas Jackson has endured a difficult couple of years. Joining Chelsea in the summer of 2023, the striker endured huge criticism while at Stamford Bridge and was loaned to Bayern Munich.
Jackson’s two years at Chelsea saw the Senegal star score 30 goals in 81 games for Chelsea following his move from Villarreal, laying on 12 assists. But the forward still managed to earn plenty of criticism.
Many felt his lack of composure in front of goal didn’t warrant a starting spot, and it seemed last summer, Enzo Maresca had enough too. He brought in Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, and Jackson was loaned out.

Well, things haven’t gone much better at Bayern Munich as Harry Kane’s backup striker. The African Cup of Nations winner has managed just 22 appearances in all competitions for Bayern, scoring five goals.
Nicolas Jackson’s next club as Mamadou Diallo gives suggestion
On the contrary, Jackson had a hand in three goals as Senegal won the African Cup of Nations over the winter, taking his tally of goals for his country to seven. A player with 22 goals has picked his next club.

Former Senegal striker Mamadou Diallo told Africa Foot that Jackson should complete a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce this summer, where he would link up with Chelsea icon N’Golo Kante in the next weeks.
“From my point of view, he should accept a move to Fenerbahçe to get more playing time and regain the confidence a striker needs. We all know how he left Chelsea last summer,” Jackson told Africa Foot.
“If he goes back there like that, it will be easier to sideline him. Fenerbahçe could allow him to revive his career, as the Turkish league is also very good,” the former Senegal man said when discussing Jackson.
What are Bayern Munich planning to do with Nicolas Jackson
When Bayern completed a deal for Jackson, they agreed to pay Chelsea around £14m for the loan and another £56m to sign the striker permanently. But given his lack of form, that clause won’t be activated.

Indeed, reports say that Bayern have already made their decision on Jackson, and that is he won’t be signed permanently by the German champions. He has a contract at Chelsea until the summer of 2033.
With Jackson shoved out the door by Chelsea last summer, his future in London feels as if it is over. But Paul Merson believes Cole Palmer misses playing with Jackson and perhaps, Rosenior will take a look.
