Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in a potential summer move for Rangers centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a key player for the Scottish giants since joining from Peterborough last summer.
Fernandez has scored five goals in 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season. His impressive debut campaign at Rangers has attracted interest from elsewhere.
According to an exclusive report from AllNigeriaSoccer.com, both Arsenal and Chelsea are closely monitoring the Nigerian defender.
Although nothing concrete has materialised at this stage, it is understood both Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on the centre-back’s progress.
Fernandez also attracted interest from multiple European clubs during the January transfer window.
Bundesliga trio Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as several Serie A clubs, were keen on signing Fernandez, whose preference was reportedly a move to Germany.
However, Rangers stood firm and decided not to allow their key defender to leave mid-season.
