Anthony Edwards explained how playing with Steph Curry at the 2024 Olympics helped elevate his game.
Anthony Edwards is already one of the most explosive scorers in the NBA. But his jump to another level started in Paris.

During the 2024 Olympics, the Minnesota Timberwolves star shared the floor with Stephen Curry as part of Team USA. That experience helped reshape how Edwards approaches the game.
"Playing with the USA team, it taught me about having a routine, especially when it comes to being on the court," Edwards explained to reporters following the All-Star game.
"Because, like, watching Steph, KD, and Bron every day do the same routine — it's normal for a person to get bored with the same thing; waking up, doing this, every single day. But I feel like that's what made them great. That's what they taught me for sure."
Edwards saw it firsthand in the Gold Medal Game against France. Curry erupted for 24 points, all from beyond the arc, delivering one of the most memorable shooting performances of the tournament. It was a masterclass in shot selection, relocation, and off-ball movement.
The numbers show the impact. Edwards is averaging a career-high 29.3 points per game this season.
After returning from the Olympics, he led the NBA with 320 made three pointers last year, proving he can stretch the floor at an elite level.
