Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea transfer news that you guys could have missed…
Chelsea are ready to make a formal offer for Murillo amid growing expectations that the centre-back will leave Nottingham Forest this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
The 23-year-old has emerged as one of the Premier League’s standout young defenders, drawing interest from multiple top clubs across Europe after an impressive debut season in English football.
Missing out on Jeremy Jacquet in the January window has accelerated ***CHELSEA***s pursuit of Murillo, who is seen as a player capable of stepping immediately into the first-team squad, and Murillo’s stock has risen sharply since his arrival from Brazil last year.
His composure on the ball, strength in duels, and ability to break opposition lines with progressive play have made him a key figure for Nottingham Forest. However, with the club battling both on-pitch challenges and financial pressures, a high-value sale this summer is considered increasingly likely.
CHELSEA, meanwhile, view the left-sided centre-back position as a priority area. With the futures of several defenders uncertain and long-term squad planning underway, the club is targeting a younger profile capable of developing under Liam Rosenior while offering immediate depth. Murillo’s age, physical profile, and Premier League experience fit the club’s recruitment strategy.
Talks between the clubs have not yet begun, but Chelsea are reportedly confident they can meet Forest’s valuation, which is expected to exceed £50 million. Forest are prepared to listen to offers but will seek to spark a competitive bidding environment, with interest also coming from clubs in Spain and Italy.

Murillo has been linked with a move to London for the last couple of transfer windows, but that high asking price and his desire to stay put has meant the club have been unable to get a deal done.
He has been impressive at times for Forest, but we are not 100 per cent certain that he would come in and make much of a difference to the side, is he really worth that £50 millon?
CHELSEA GET MCTOMINAY GREEN LIGHT
CHELSEA are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Scott McTominay from Italian champions Napoli, with sources suggesting the Scotland international “dreams” of a return to the Premier League, according to reporting by Goal.
McTominay, 29, left Manchester United in the summer of 2024 after making more than 250 appearances for the club, joining Napoli in a deal worth around £32 million. Since moving to Italy, he has become a key figure for the Serie A side, helping them win the league title in his first season and earning individual plaudits for his performances.
Reports from Italy indicate that McTominay has maintained strong form in Naples and has been influential in Napoli’s midfield. Despite his success, sources familiar with the situation claim that he has considered a return to English football in 2026, with Manchester United emerging as the frontrunner among several clubs monitoring his situation.
Chelsea’s interest in McTominay comes against a backdrop of evolving midfield needs at Stamford Bridge. The club have been seeking experienced, dynamic midfield options capable of contributing both defensively and going forward.
McTominay’s physical presence, goal threat and familiarity with the club have been cited as attractive qualities by Chelsea officials.
However, while ***CHELSEA***’s interest is clear, the prospect of Napoli selling McTominay is less straightforward. Napoli reportedly value the midfielder highly after his strong performances in Serie A and might demand a significant fee to part with one of their key players.
For his part, McTominay’s stance appears nuanced. Sources close to the player claim he remains happy at Napoli, where he has been celebrated by supporters and coaching staff alike.

McTominay has done brilliant over in Italian football and showed Man United that they made a mistake letting him leave the club, i mean he was voted the 18th best player in the world last year.
But even though he is a great player, he is not really needed here at CHELSEA and to be honest, we cant see a move happening when the summer window opens up.
ADEYEMI OPENS DOOR TO SUMMER MOVE
Long-term CHELSEA transfer target and Borussia Dortmund speedster Karim Adeyemi has finally broken his silence regarding his future at the Westfalenstadion, and has admitted that anything can happen in football.
Reports indicate that Dortmund are now seriously considering selling him during the upcoming summer transfer window. Such a move could reportedly command a fee in the region of €60m, providing Dortmund with significant capital to reinvest in the squad while offloading his substantial wages from the books.
Speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten about the uncertainty surrounding his long-term future, Adeyemi acknowledged that while he remains focused on the present, the situation is not entirely within his control. “In football, everything can change very quickly. It could all be decided in a month or two – maybe even in the next couple of weeks. The decision isn’t mine alone. Many factors come into play, including considerations from the club,” he explained.
“What you read in the media isn’t always accurate. My focus is here. I’ve never said I feel uncomfortable or anything like that.”
He added: “My goal has always been to compete at the very top. Nevertheless, I’m not going to make any bold pronouncements about other teams. We’re focusing on ourselves, doing our own thing.
‘If it works out well in the end, great. We have to stay true to ourselves, perform well, win games – and then we’ll see where we stand. I have a clear goal – and I’ll announce it again every year as long as I play here.”
IcChelseanews says…
No matter how talented the las is, CHELSEA will not be the place that he needs to make a move too next, we have some quality players in the side that produce alot more goals and assists that Adeyemi, he is not ready yet.
So even though the board will probably make a move in the summer, we just cant see where he would fit in?
