Giannis Antetokounmpo did not see action in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, but the Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward certainly grabbed attention for his presence alone.
And with his kids with him at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, Antetokounmpo’s personality shone even more.
During a moment in the Team World’s locker room, Antetokounmpo was seen and heard talking to his son about envisioning a future in the NBA. The conversation also included a hilarious swipe at San Antonio Spurs star big man Victor Wembanyama.
“You’re gonna be rookie of the year, then you’re gonna be an All-Star… and then you’re gonna dunk on Wemby,” the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player said.
Here’s a look at that fun father-son interaction:

Antetokounmpo must have enjoyed watching Wembanyama play in the All-Star Game tournament. Despite Team World losing both their assignment and failing to move into the championship round, Wembanyama gave a full effort in those games, as Antetokounmpo and the rest of the team watched him put the squad on his back.
Bucks looking to have Antetokounmpo back on the court at the start of the second half of the season
Milwaukee entered the All-Star break with considerable momentum, having won five of six games — and the Bucks did so without Antetokounmpo.
A calf issue has sidelined the future Basketball Hall of Famer, but he appears to be ready to give it a go sooner than later.
It will be interesting to see whether he plays or not on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans on the road.
On the season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 64.5 percent from the field.
