Wrexham co-owner and Hollywood A-lister Ryan Reynolds was rendered virtually speechless after his club were paired with Chelsea in the FA Cup last-16. The Welsh outfit will welcome the Blues next month as they battle for a quarter-final berth in the world's most historic domestic cup tournament.
Reynolds was captured viewing the draw alongside Hugh Jackman and displayed a remarkable reaction as the pairing was confirmed. "Ohhh, Chelsea", declared Jackman whilst Reynolds gazed at his tablet with his mouth agape.
"Wait, wait, wait, we're home to Chelsea," were the initial words from the Deadpool star. "That's what you wanted," remarked Wolverine actor Jackman, prompting Reynolds to applaud before employing rather stronger vocabulary.
"Yes. What the ****?" he exclaimed.
Sharing the footage on X, Reynolds wrote: "Chelsea at the Racecourse! Holy crap."

Josh Windass scored the decisive strike as the Red Dragons secured a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town to advance in the FA Cup at the Racecourse Ground on Friday night. Chelsea, by contrast, comfortably saw off Hull City 4-0.
Phil Parkinson's men have previously overcome top-flight opponents after beating Nottingham Forest on penalties in the preceding round. Chelsea are expected to pose a considerably tougher challenge.
However, Parkinson has previously tasted victory over the Blues in this tournament. In 2014, he masterminded a comeback from two goals down to secure a 4-2 win for Bradford against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Wrexham last faced Chelsea in a competitive match in 1982 in Division 2, after three encounters in the FA Cup that same year. Home and away draws eventually led to a third tie, which saw the London team triumph 2-1.
More recently, following Wrexham's takeover, the clubs met in friendly matches in the United States. They squared off in front of a crowd of 50,596 at Kenan Stadium, North Carolina, in 2023 and then at Levi's Stadium, California in 2024.
After defeating Ipswich, a delighted Parkinson took time to relish the achievement. He stated: "We spoke before the game about our chance to create a bit of history.
"We've done it and I'm so pleased because it was always going to be a tough game against a very good side. Every season in football is special, you've got to savour it and the FA Cup is part of that.
"It was important that we backed up the Nottingham Forest win with another win. This season, with the challenge of being in the Championship and now an FA Cup run, we want to enjoy it and we certainly did tonight."
