Everton ought to consider a move for Tosin Adarabioyo this summer, with Chelsea reportedly ready to hear offers for the defender.
According to TEAMtalk, Adarabioyo’s time at the club could come to an end in the next window, as they seek to sign Murillo from Nottingham Forest.
Who should be Everton’s starting centre-backs for next season? 😬

Chelsea are said to have done a lot of groundwork on the Brazilian, and are ready to make a pursuit.
So Adarabioyo’s future at Stamford is now in doubt.
And potentially this presents a transfer opportunity for Everton.
Tosin Adarabioyo could make good Michael Keane replacement
As Everton fans well know, Michael Keane’s contract with the club is expiring this summer.
He’s had a good season, but given his age it would perhaps be a surprise if the club turned around and offered him a new deal.

James Tarkowski is also not getting any younger, and it may be the plan to lower the average age of the centre-backs a little.
By signing Adarabioyo, Everton would be bringing in a player in his prime.
Seemingly he’s no longer top choice at Chelsea, but the 28-year-old is still a proven Premier League centre-back.
From a physical standpoint, he is surely the kind of player David Moyes would like to have, being 6ft 5in tall. This allows Adarabioyo to be aerially dominant. As per WhoScored, he has won 36 aerial duels o far this season, with a success rate of 69.2%.
He can also chip in with goals which is something Keane has been known for. In 61 appearances for Chelsea, he’s scored six times.
Perhaps if Everton face difficult signing Marcos Senesi, then an approach for Adarabioyo could make sense.
Everton have been linked with Adarabioyo before
It would be interesting if Everton did make a push to sign Adarabioyo, as he’s a player the club have been linked with before.
All the way back in 2017 while he was still at Manchester City, it was claimed (Daily Mail) Everton held an interest in the player, and were leading the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Celtic and Leicester City.

Adarabioyo would later go on to have loan spells with West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers, before moving to Fulham permanently, and then Chelsea.
So maybe, Everton now have a golden chance to land a player they’ve previously admired, although there is no word on an asking price just yet.
