**Dominik Szoboszlai’s agent has played down a possible move to Real Madrid.**
Szoboszlai’s future with Liverpool remains clouded in uncertainty after he recently admitted that [any decision over extending his time with the club is ‘not in my hands](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/63357-dominik-szoboszlai-liverpool-future-is-not-in-my-hands/)‘.
Hungary manager Marco Rossi added fuel to the fire by telling Madrid-based newspaper Marca that the midfielder’s ‘dream’ is to play for Los Blancos.
Szoboszlai already has purported ties to the Bernabeu with Madrid winger Vinicius claiming that he speaks regularly with the Reds’ current standout performer.
But representative Matyas Esterhazy insists that the 25-year-old is not pursuing options away from Anfield despite the current impasse over a new contract.
“It’s completely normal for the public, when Dominik is performing like this, to talk about what’s next and if there’s something higher,” he told Hungary’s NB1.
“For us it’s not a topic. We are mid-season; he has a lot of work ahead of him in the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League.
“He has said many times how important this competition is for him. So at the moment to talk about what will happen in the summer in my opinion is not correct.
“Not to mention, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and Dominik is in a position within the team that has a lot of reserve.
“So we are not looking outside or elsewhere.”
