Chelsea could see one of their players return in the summer transfer window, and Cole Palmer will be really pleased.
The Blues are currently focused on qualifying for the Champions League, as they sit fifth in the Premier League table under Liam Rosenior. They are one point off Man United in fourth, and face games against Burnley and Arsenal over the next two weeks.
Chelsea also remain in the FA Cup, as they beat Hull City 4-0 over the weekend, to set up a mouth-watering tie against Championship side Wrexham in the fifth round.
Cole Palmer will play a major role in the remainder of the season for Chelsea, as he has scored four goals in his last two Premier League games for the Blues. Looking ahead to next season, he may be very happy about a recent transfer development.
Nicolas Jackson expected to return to Chelsea

Striker Nicolas Jackson left Chelsea to join Bayern Munich in the summer, on a loan deal with an obligation for the German club to buy him for £56m.
However, the obligation was based on him playing a certain amount of games, and because he’s not been able to get into the team with Harry Kane starting, he could return to Chelsea.
According to the Times, it is almost a guarantee that Jackson will return to Chelsea in the summer due to this lack of game time, and so could re-integrate himself under Rosenior, after his previous spell under Enzo Maresca.
Palmer will be pleased about Jackson’s return
Palmer and Jackson linked up together very well before Jackson left to join Bayern, and former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes that Palmer has missed Jackson since he left Stamford Bridge.
Merson said earlier in the month: “I like Palmer, but Palmer misses Jackson. Jackson made Palmer, and Palmer made Jackson. And people used to slaughter Jackson and say, ‘Oh, he’s no good. He misses chances. You’d love to play with Jackson because he always went that way (forwards).
“You watch Palmer now. He puts his foot on the ball, and there’s nothing there. Joao Pedro wants to come this way (dropping short), and there’s no movement in front of him.”
