New data from CIES Football Observatory shows Liverpool have four players who are among the fastest in the Champions League this season.
The Reds are into the last-16 of the competition after bypassing the league-phase play-offs, which have been playing out this week.
Liverpool are fifth favourites to win the Champions League this term, with table-topping Arsenal the most likely to do so.

Now, CIES have published a report which showcases the fastest players from teams still left in the Champions League via position.
Four Liverpool players among fastest in Champions League
Ibrahima Konate is the fourth-fastest centre-back in 2025/26, clocking a speed of 34.5km/h.
Liverpool target Micky van de Ven is the second-fastest central defender this term (35.11km/h).

Elsewhere, Jeremie Frimpong features on the wing-back list, with a top speed of 34.62km/h.
Ryan Gravenberch is the only Liverpool midfielder to make the cut (32.15km/h).
Elsewhere, Hugo Ekitike is the fastest of all the Reds players in the Champions League this term, sitting one place ahead of Erling Haaland (34.87km/h) in the striker rankings with a high speed of 34.91km/h.

Federico Chiesa thinks another Liverpool player is among the fastest
Federico Chiesa is well known for being a quick player, but he did not make the list, likely because he’s hardly played this season.
But Chiesa has previously suggested who could be Liverpool’s fastest player this season.
While the Italian obviously mentioned Frimpong, he was also quick to suggest Dominik Szoboszlai is fast once he gets going.
Asked if Frimpong is the quickest player at Liverpool, he said: “Yeah, I would say yeah. I said him and [Dominik] Szoboszlai when the pitch opens up, he has a long stride.”
Szoboszlai also did not rank among the paciest players in the Champions League this term.
