Maxx Crosby trade rumors offer mixed news for Cowboys, Patriots, Seahawks, Eagles hopes

The Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots are four teams to keep an eye on if the Las Vegas Raiders make Maxx Crosby available via trade in 2026.

All four teams not only need an addition along the edge, they could all use a significant move at the position, and Crosby would qualify as such.

However, the situation between Crosby and the Raiders remains murky based on the latest rumors coming from Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.

On one hand, Breer doesn't think Crosby is totally done in Las Vegas, but he also leaves the door open for the five-time Pro Bowler to get traded.

"I don't think he's completely closed the book yet on playing for Las Vegas," Breer said of Crosby.

"I think it's still very gray," Breer added on the Crosby situation. "We don't have a ton of black and white on whether or not he'll be traded, who he'll be traded to."

After the Raiders hired Klint Kubiak as head coach, Crosby did not attend his introductory presser, but he did sit down with Kubiak for a meeting, which was viewed as a good sign for his future in Vegas.

However, Breer is hearing that meeting did not do anything to sway Crosby one way or the other.

"My understanding is that breakfast went really well, there was a good rapport... but nothing really materially changed," Breer said.

When it comes to possible suitors, Breer believes the Seahawks and Patriots would be good fits.

We would also include the Eagles and Cowboys as possible suitors, and especially Dallas after the team reportedly inquired about Crosby at last year's trade deadline.

As far as when we might know what Crosby wants to do, the expectation is his reps and the Raiders will meet at the NFL Combine later this month. At that point, we might finally have our answer.
