Chelsea are reportedly set to battle against Man City for a West Ham midfielder in the summer.
The Blues had a very quiet January transfer window, as they failed to make any major signings to add to Liam Rosenior‘s squad. The Chelsea boss will still be delighted with his squad, though, as they are in the hunt for Champions League football.
Chelsea sit fifth in the Premier League table, and come off a fourth-round FA Cup victory against Championship side Hull City, to keep their hopes of silverware this season alive.
Heading into the summer, Chelsea are likely to invest in Rosenior’s squad, especially when they know whether they will be in the Champions League or fighting to get back into it.
