“The Ravens Will Have Three Wide Receivers”: Baltimore Ravens Find Next Playmaker For QB Lamar…

The Baltimore Ravens finished with an 8-9 record during the 2025 NFL season. They missed the playoffs and decided to make major changes to the coaching staff this offseason. Baltimore fired John Harbaugh as head coach after 18 seasons. The Ravens hired Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter as the next head coach.

One of the biggest things that the Ravens will need to figure out for next season is how things are going to be with quarterback Lamar Jackson in the locker room. There were some reports that Harbaugh and Lamar did not get along with each other, but they both shut down those reports very quickly. It will be interesting to see how things will go with Jackson and Minter. Baltimore will own the 14th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Will they draft defense in the first round or will they add more talent on the offensive side of the football?

Profootballfocus.com writer Gordon McGuinness created his latest three-round mock draft for 2026. McGuinness has the Ravens selecting wide receiver Denzel Boston from the Washington Huskies with the 14th overall pick. It would be a surprise if Baltimore decided to draft another wide receiver in the first round instead of drafting a defensive player for Minter’s system. McGuinness said about the Ravens finding Jackson another wide receiver,

“If Declan Doyle brings over the scheme that theChicago Bearsdeployed in 2025, then the Ravens will have three wide receivers on the field significantly more in 2026. Right now, they don’t have the talent to do so, so Boston would be a strong selection. He would give them a different type of receiver, too, coming off a season where he hauled in 76.9% of his contested targets.”

Boston is 6’4″ and weighs 209 lbs. He is climbing up the ladder for draft boards in the first round at the wide receiver position. During the 2025 college football season with Washington, Boston caught 62 passes for 881 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns, along with averaging 14.2 yards per reception. He is going to be gaging a lot of interest from teams who need help at wide receiver. Boston is probably the fourth best wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft class. Going at 14 to the Ravens might be a little high for him. The only other reliable wide receiver on the roster is Zay Flowers.
