The New York Jets have a lot of work to do on both sides of the ball this offseason, with one of the more important positions to address being the wide receiver room.
Garrett Wilson is a great number one option, but behind him, Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie III aren't good enough. The Jets need a true number two option, or another capable WR who can handle a high volume of work.
With such a need, ESPN's Matt Bowen named the Jets as the team that could poach 5-foot-8, 185-pound WR Wan'Dale Robinson from the New York Giants in free agency.
Jets named as suitor for Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson
"Let's give the Jets a slot receiver who displayed more vertical ability in 2025 with the Giants," Bowen writes. "While the Jets must address quarterback this offseason, Robinson could pair with Garrett Wilson to give them a receiving presence both inside and outside the numbers."
Even with the quarterback need, the Jets landing a wide receiver like Robinson isn't out of the question. While his size might be an outlier, at just 5-foot-8, Robinson has proven to be a good receiver in his NFL action the last few years.
This season, Robinson hauled in 92 receptions (9th in NFL) for 1,014 receiving yards (14th) for four touchdowns in a breakout season with a variety of QBs in New York.

Coming to the Jets, he will have plenty of experience with shaky quarterback play from his Giants days. He'll play alongside Wilson and be a versatile receiver who plays much bigger than his size indicates.
The 2022 second-round pick would be a great free agent target for the Jets. He's only 25 years old, and with a dire need for wide receiver help, he'd be the perfect complement to the current cast of receivers on the Jets roster.
Regardless of who their quarterback will be in 2026, the Jets need to add receiver help this offseason. Bowen named the Jets as Robinson's best fit this offseason. He'd be great alongside Wilson and Mitchell, giving a volume option in the offense to complement the explosive play-makers in Wilson and Mitchell.
