Reports have stated that there is a chance Nicolas Jackson is reintegrated into the Chelsea squad next season, and this should completely shift their plans when it comes to the upcoming summer transfer window.
Joao Pedro has hit the ground running since making the move to Stamford Bridge, however Liam Delap has struggled far greater to make any meaningful contribution up front.
Chelsea fans have frequently asked for Jackson’s return, and his inclusion back into the first team squad instantly lifts the quality of their attack.
It could also mean that the club could look to put their funds into other positions on the pitch when it comes to their summer spending.

Three positions Chelsea must prioritise if Nicolas Jackson stays
The Chelsea Chronicle have analysed three positions where the Blues could choose to prioritise this summer ahead of the number nine role.
Central Midfield – Goodbye Romeo Lavia
It has been a really tough time for Romeo Lavia at Stamford Bridge. Injuries have left him unavailable for longer than he has actually been fit.
Chelsea have been patient with the young midfielder, although are starting to feel the repercussions due to the amount of minutes Moises Caicedo is being forced to play.
The Blues could part ways with the Belgian and look to bring in one of Elliot Anderson or Adam Wharton, both likely to be on the move when the transfer window opens.
Both deals are likely to be in the region of £100m, however Chelsea would be saving an exceptional amount from not signing a new striker with Jackson’s return.

Centre back – Time to upgrade
Chelsea have a lot of options at centre-back. However, there is simply no confidence in a backline that includes Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile or Trevoh Chalobah.
Axel Disasi is also on loan, but Chelsea need an established name at the back to partner Levi Colwill in the upcoming season.
Injuries have also plagued the likes of Wesley Fofana, and an experienced option is an essential purchase while the likes of Mamadou Sarr continue to learn their trade.
If Chelsea want to become Premier League title contenders, they need more than two serious options at centre-back.

Winger – Put an end to the cheap experiment
Over the last two seasons, Chelsea have signed both Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho on cut-price deals, although neither have made a genuine impact up to now.
Even big money signing Jamie Gittens has not worked out, and the left side in particular needs addressing as soon as possible.
The likes of Bradley Barcola and Kenan Yildiz have previously been linked with the club, and it is that kind of pedigree they need to be bringing in to take that step to the next level.
Estevao Willian and Geovany Quenda are certainly stars for the future on the right, but adding immediate quality to the wide areas should be seen as a priority.
